The Oregon Adventist Men’s Chorus has been invited to return to Ukraine. This time, organizers from the Ukraine Union of Seventh-day Adventists have planned a route through western Ukraine.
In 2017, men from the United States, Romania, Africa, and the host country, Ukraine, sang their way through eastern Ukraine. Some of the areas bore visible witness to the ravages of war. As the singers left city after city, the testimony of love and harmony left a trail of hope.
‘It’s only the beginning of something that is even greater!’
—Yevgeniy Yatsyshyn, Ukraine choir conductor
and a member of the 2017 Ukraine Mission.
Cities with small churches could not see how large concert halls could be filled, yet every concert was filled. Concert goers, instrumentalists and those working in hotels and concert halls have a new image of Protestant Christianity in general and Seventh-day Adventists in particular.
The message of love and peace was proclaimed.
Churches grew. Relationships between Seventh-day Adventists and their communities blossomed.
The invitation for a return mission came with a message: “We want our brothers and sisters in western Ukraine to have the same wonderful experience.”
You’re invited to share the message of hope and peace. Sing with us or give a gift to support the Ukraine Mission.
