A memorial service will be held for Lou Wildman, our friend, mentor, and leader, on Sunday, Mar 8, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Sunnyside Seventh-day Adventist Church, 10501 SE Market St., Portland, OR.

Dear OAMC Family,
It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our brother, mentor, and friend, Lou Wildman.
Lou was so many things to each of us and leaves a void in our hearts. He was a man who loved music, OAMC, and God.
Some of you may wonder why this message is coming now. Lou’s wife, Reinette, reached out to Ben on Wednesday, but she needed a little time before sharing details publicly. At her request, we waited until she was ready to let us communicate with you.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for early March. In keeping with Lou’s wishes, he specifically requested that OAMC sing several of his favorite songs at the service. We are honored to fulfill this request and are currently working on the details, including how to make the music easily accessible to everyone.
This is an open invitation to all current and past members of OAMC to join together and sing one more time in tribute to Lou. As soon as we have confirmed dates, times, location, and rehearsal information—likely shortly after the new year—we will share everything with you.
In the meantime, please hold this occasion in your plans. As Lou always encouraged us: “Just show up!”
We take comfort in the words we have so often sung together: “We have this hope… in the coming of the Lord.”
